Sorry we haven't posted in a while. We have been very busy! Macey's Nona was diagnosed with Breast Cancer but has already undergone surgery and was given a prognosis of 95% chance of full recovery with no recurrences of cancer ( with the recommended minimal treatment). We flew to Pennsylvania to visit Nona, Grandpa and Uncle Jay for the holidays. We are also happy to report that Macey is learning something new everyday. She now tells us when she needs to go potty (about 50-75% of the time) by using the sign language symbol for potty. She also learned to say "baby baby baby" and "pretty". She has also recently began feeding herself ( and others) with a baby fork, and covers her mouth when she coughs. We think she's pretty amazing. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!! ( our holiday cards did not arrive before we left for our vacation so everyone will be receiving them a little late. Sorry about that! We'll be sure to order then earlier next year!)
